Life KPI for iPhone

Make the four capitals of your life visible.

Life KPI is a private dashboard for checking in on, and tending, the four capitals of your life — on your own terms.

It keeps life from drifting by on feeling alone, without letting numbers make rough judgments for you. A personal instrument panel that simply reflects where your life is leaning, and what you might gently adjust.

Origin

Measuring the distance to the life you want to keep.

A work KPI measures the distance to your company’s goals. Life KPI measures the distance to the life you actually want to keep — the one you would not want to lose sight of.

Numbers are not for comparing yourself to others or for showing off. They are here, on your screen, to help you remember how you want to live.

Four Capitals

A life cannot be measured by a single number.

Human capital, financial capital, social capital, and personal taste. The four capitals carry value like different currencies — they cannot be directly traded for one another, and no single one being strong is enough to make a life feel whole.

  1. Human Capital

Health, skills, knowledge, energy, mental strength, and habits. The ground floor for both earning a living and enjoying it — and something worth investing in for a lifetime.

  2. Financial Capital

Money and the ability to handle it: savings, investing, side income, and spending control. The wider this circle of control gets, the more options your life has.

  3. Personal Taste

Values, hobbies, aesthetics, creation, the way you are yourself. Not leisure on the side, but the center that decides what the other three capitals are even for.

Rhythm

Define. Record. Look back at month end.

  1. 01

    Define KPIs

Turn actions that matter to your current life into KPIs. You do not need perfect indicators from the start — you can revise them as you go.

  2. 02

    Record, lightly

Exercise, meeting someone, investing, seeing a film. Small actions, captured lightly when they happen.

  3. 03

    See it through five windows

This week, this month, this year, all time, or any custom range. Move between the short-term feel and the long-term direction on the same screen.

  4. 04

    Leave Keep / Change

At month end, leave one line each for what to keep and what to change. A small place to put words on the "why" that scores alone cannot hold.

What Life KPI does not do

It makes things visible. It does not rush you.

  • No rankings. You never see another person’s score.
  • No feed. No stream of other people’s achievements.
  • No streak pressure. Missing a day erases nothing.
  • Notifications are once a week and once at month end. Nothing more — life does not need to be hurried.
  • No scolding for falling short. Unfinished KPIs just sit on the list, with no red warning and no "keep going" pressure.
  • No over-celebration of achievement. Even past 100%, it stays small. No fireworks.

What Life KPI cares about is not stimulation, but how you feel after you close the app — settled, not stirred up.

Privacy

Your KPIs exist for you, not for us.

KPIs, check-ins, memos, and monthly reviews are stored on device and, when available, synced with your private iCloud. Life KPI does not use external developer servers, advertising SDKs, or analytics SDKs.

Continuing is the most important KPI.

The familiar trap of any KPI tool is that hitting the KPI gradually turns into the point. Life KPI tries to go the other way. The numbers are here as a way to remember how you want to live. Whether you hit a target or not, you can open the app again tomorrow. One Keep / Change line at the end of the month is enough.
